| Q. What can I expect the average kitchen remodel to cost? |
A. All kitchens are different therefore the price of a kitchen remodel will vary.
Cabinet and countertop pricing has a wide spectrum of pricing that is very
dependent on colors, wood species, construction and brand name.
Heartland has come up with a Good Better Best Brochure to give
homeowners a rough estimate of what a total kitchen package could cost. |
Q. Do I have to have HCS install my cabinetry? |
A. Although it is recommended that HCS perform installation on every project
that we sell to our customers it is not necessary. Sometimes the scope of your kitchen
remodel may need more attention than just a replacement of cabinetry and countertops.
We have lists of several reliable general and sub-contractors in all different specialties available
for our customers. Please see your Heartland representative for details. |
Q. Do I have to have HCS install my countertops? |
A. Laminate countertops are always priced with an installation option.
For our solid surface and quartz materials it is necessary for HCS to
install in order for the warranties on those products to be valid. |
| Q. How fast can I expect my quote and layouts after my initial consultation? |
A. Typical layouts and quotes are drawn up and priced in 2 weeks or less and sent
via email (unless otherwise specified) in PDF form. The layouts will feature 3-D
color technology for a full effect of what your kitchen will look like when complete.
Your designer will give you an exact estimate on timeframe during initial consultation.
Please note that if the designers are waiting on any color/ design choices the quote
may take longer. |
Q. Do you provide delivery? What are your charges? |
A. We do provide delivery for all products from whole kitchens to a small hardware
order. Delivery is charged according to your location from our warehouse and for small
ticket items there is usually no charge incurred but may take longer depending
when we will be in your area. Delivery may be listed as an optional item and pick
up is allowable from our showroom. |
| Q. Do I have to provide final measurements for my countertops like at the Big Box Stores? |
A. We do prefer that during your initial countertop consultation that you bring
your own measurements with you. (How do I do that?) We will gladly come out to your
home and take a preliminary measure as well. Before any countertop goes into fabrication
we will perform a digital template to ensure complete accuracy, up to 1/8” over 50’ so your
countertops slide in like a glove. Most of the time a digital template is necessary,
